The places to stay listed here aren't 'family resorts' — as that's not really our thing... What they are is the places to stay already featured on Inspired Australia that we know enjoy having children stay, and we think are good places for families.

We think you will find some interesting places to stay with your kids that show them it's not all about school dinner style buffets and the free T-shirt, and you'll realise that you can afford to stay somewhere other than a dull motel or unit with the whole family (and still have money left over for surf lessons/trips to the aquarium and zoo/an outback adventure/that snorkelling trip to the reef...)
