Cruising Australia — getting to, from and around Australia
by luxury liner

It's never gonna fit under that bridge, mate! The cruise ships have to rough it with the ferries in Circular Quay, Sydney

There was a double-page spread in the Sunday Times recently about a cruise from Sydney to Auckland, which took in Melbourne and Tasmania en route.

The article finishes with a list of other cruise lines that stop in and around Australia, and some of the itineraries certainly look appealing.

I like the look of a cruise on the Nautica. Nautica manages to be both posh and laid-back (gourmet food, but no black tie, for instance). Her December 20 sailing from Singapore to Sydney takes in Bali, Komodo (for the dragons), Thursday Island, the Great Barrier Reef, and the lovely Whitsunday Islands, off Queensland.

If anyone fancies booking me a cabin am happy to write a detailed review... :)
